Clearwater was founded by singer and activist Pete Seeger, to promote a safe and clean Hudson River. Interns work on data gathering projects, presentations to the community, and a variety of other tasks and projects.
Poughkeepsie Farm Project is a member-supported farm located on the Vassar Farm. They grow fresh vegetables and fruit, train future farmers, provide hands-on educational programs, and improve access to healthy locally-grown food. A significant portion of the food grown on the farm is donated to local food banks and people in need.
Scenic Hudson works to protect and restore the Hudson River and its majestic landscape.
Sprout Creek Farm is a working farm, a market, and an educational center. They are nationally recognized for their award-winning cheeses.
